About the event
PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN VENUE FOR THIS DATE
This is our major community outreach program this year, distributing food to people in need in Dorchester County!!! This project is exciting because we are doing a needed service for the people of Dorchester County, getting our Party name known, showing people in our County that we do exist, and living and accomplishing our values as Democrats - supporting people in need! It will also help us achieve our major goal this year, which is to "grow the party".
It can be much easier for YOU to ask your Democratic friends and neighbors to come join us and do something for the people of the County, and then get them to join our County Party as we get candidates that believe in our values and get them elected!
We will have two shifts: 9:30 to 11:30 and 11:00 to 2:00 pm. Wear your Dorchester County Democrats shirt if you have one, if not let us know and we will get you one. We will be taking the food off the pallets and putting them into bags, and distributing the bags to the cars from 10 am to 2 pm. We are sponsoring this event along with the non-profit Community Resource Center in Summerville.
