District 98 Special Election
A Unique Opportunity to Flip a State House Seat!

Why It Matters
We have an excellent chance to flip a key House District seat!
-
District 98 covers southeast Dorchester County with over 27,000 registered voters.
-
Republican Chris Murphy held the seat for 15 years, backing abortion bans, permitless carry, and school vouchers.
He resigned August 20, 2025, triggering a special election on January 6, 2026. -
Three Democratic candidates will face off in the November 4th primary.
Why We Can Win
-
Lots of Democrats: Over 12,000 District 98 residents voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
-
High Motivation: There's a growing backlash to MAGA extremism..
-
Low Turnout = Big Opportunity: With under 5,000 votes expected, just 2,500 votes can flip the seat.
