Michael B Moore

U.S. House of Representatives, District 1

Michael B. Moore spent nearly four decades in the private sector; holding leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurial ventures, and nonprofit organizations. He was the founding president of the International African American Museum in Charleston, and is seeking the same seat once held by his great-great-grandfather, Civil War hero Robert Smalls. Michael graduated from Syracuse University, earned an MBA from Duke University, and received an honorary Doctorate in Public History from Dickinson College. He lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Karla; and is the loving father to four sons: David, Lucas, Israel and Robert (and grandfather to Sasha!).

Representative Jim Clyburn

U.S. House of Representative, District 6 - INCUMBENT

James E. Clyburn is the U.S. Congressman representing South Carolina's 6th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.  He previously served as House Majority Whip from 2019 to 2022 and from 2007 to 2010 and served as Assistant Democratic Leader from 2011 to 2018 and 2023 to 2024.  President Barack Obama has said he is, "One of a handful of people who, when they speak, the entire Congress listens." His endorsement of Joe Biden for president in 2020 is credited with setting Biden on path to the presidency.

He has a seat at the table when key decisions are being made in Washington and he works every day to keep his promise to the people of South Carolina to put, “Service above self and principles above politics.”  

Congressman Clyburn, with his late wife of 58-years, Emily England Clyburn are parents of three daughters, grandparents to four grandchildren, and great grandparents to one great grandchild.

Senator Vernon Stephens

State Senate, District 39 - INCUMBENT

Senator Vernon Stephens is a dedicated public servant with a lifelong commitment to serving the people of Senate District 39. Born and raised in Bowman, Vernon understands the issues facing families and has delivered for South Carolina in the Senate. 

 

Vernon graduated from St. George High School and South Carolina State College. Senator Deon Tedder

State Senate, District 42 - INCUMBENT

Tiffany Spann-Wilder

A native of North Charleston, Tiffany Spann-Wilder is the descendant of a strong willed family who instilled in her the values of putting the needs of others first and making tomorrow better for future generations.

Adrienne Lett

State House of Representatives, District 114

Adrienne Lett is a 24 year old civil engineer and West Ashley resident dedicated to advocating for the needs of South Carolina’s young adults. Adrienne is passionate about improving abortion access, LGBTQ+ rights, cost of living, and tenant rights. If elected, Adrienne would be the first Gen Z woman and first openly bisexual woman elected to the statehouse. She would also be the youngest woman elected to the State House of Representatives in almost 50 years. Solicitor David M Pascoe

Solicitor Circuit 1 - INCUMBENT

David Pascoe was elected Solicitor for the First Judicial Circuit in 2204 and took the Oath of Office on January 14th, 2005. As your Solicitor, David Pascoe has successfully tried over 200 violent crime cases, instituted drug courts and other programs to reduce recidivism, worked with churches and community organizations to start the Youth Mentor Program, and led the prosecution and conviction of five power state legislators who traded on the public trust and their office to enrich themselves.

The First Circuit is comprised of Orangeburg, Calhoun & Dorchester counties.

Charles T Frederick III

Sheriff

Charles Frederick has 38 years of experience in law enforcement serving in both the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Dorchester County Sheriff’s office.  He is a Marine veteran, a successful business owner, a husband, and father.
